If you are ready to plan for your business, launch your business, or analyze the viability of a business concept, let the EAC team at SoBro assist you.
For more information, please contact the director of our Entrepreneur Assistance Center, Marques Payne.
The EAC offers the unique advantage of providing technical assistance services to entrepreneurs that are conducted by entrepreneurs.
We use the Business Model Canvas as a first step for entrepreneurs to take an in-depth look at the viability of their business concept. A 12-week business plan writing class takes entrepreneurs through a comprehensive development process to create the financials, marketing, management, and operations of their business. Upon completing the business plan course, entrepreneurs can receive assistance with setting up the corporate structure of their business.
The SoBro Entrepreneur Assistance Center also serves as a gateway to connect entrepreneurs to the plethora of the services available in SoBro’s business development program.
SoBro’s Entrepreneur Assistance Center (EAC) works with entrepreneurs from conception to launch. The EAC can help your new business with:
Determining the feasibility of starting a business
Refining a business concept and business plan
Completing MWBE certification applications
Engaging with Business Mentor NY, a web-based volunteer mentor platform
Establishing management principles and practices
Product development and marketing
Identifying and accessing capital and credit
Access to business support networks
Ongoing and continued technical assistance to program graduates, including connections to other small business services
