Tonia Elvin is a financial and nonprofit public accounting executive with experience in finance, entertainment, sports, retail/wholesale distribution, and nonprofit management.
Elvin has worked in the financial industry for more than 20 years, gaining experience in conversions, cost reductions, and general management skills through the implementation of rigid internal controls and adherence to GAAP accounting policies and procedures.
Elvin has successfully managed a $20M budget with teams of up to 90 people over four departments.
As the Chief Financial Officer at SoBro, Elvin ensures that the organization continues to strengthen financial controls and foster sound financial operations.
Elvin studied Financial Accounting at Monroe College, where she acquired her bachelor’s degree.
She went on to secure her master’s in Financial Accounting from Lehman College.
