Adult Education

Adult Basic Education & GED Preparation
We offer a range of basic education courses, including beginner literacy classes for students transitioning from our ESL program or for those functioning at very low literacy levels. Once students have completed our basic education program, those without high school diplomas are encouraged to enroll in our GED preparation courses. For clients who decide to pursue higher education, we also provide college application assistance and resources.

ESL & Civics Education
Our ESL program puts learning into the context of everyday activities, such as opening a bank account, obtaining a driver’s license and drafting a resume. We also help new immigrants prepare for their U.S. Citizenship Exam by familiarizing them with American history and the principles of U.S. government.

Computer Literacy
Computer training and resources are available to all program participants to help them better prepare for quality employment. Many of our course projects and assignments involve utilizing the Internet and Microsoft Office software.
