A Seminar on Healthcare Reform (Obamacare) for Small Business
SoBRO will host a seminar covering all the changes your small business will face under the Affordable Care Act (Obamacare).
The Affordable Care Act, also known as Obamacare, went into law in March 2010. The Act makes it MANDATORY for all businesses to obtain health insurance for employees. The seminar will feature a detailed description of what the new regulations mean for your small business as well as the penalties for non-compliance.
One of the most important provisions in the law which went into effect immediately provides tax credits to employers toward the purchase of employee health insurance. Businesses with fewer than 25 employees which average monthly wages of less than $50,000 will be eligible for this credit.
